#Ripon and Lower Dales Methodist Circuit

are seeking to appoint a part time Family Missions Worker and a part time Lay Pastoral Worker. These are two separate posts for which we have three years of funding. The areas of expertise required for each post are different and therefore we are looking for two people to join our staff team.

Family Missions Worker 15 hours per week.]
This part time post will have a children/family focus. The successful applicant will work in conjunction with the Circuit Ministers. The work would include encouraging congregations to believe God is calling them to be creative, to change and grow membership, to explore fresh expressions of church, and to undertake any related pastoral work. The hours may be spread flexibly over two weeks and are anticipated to be late afternoons, evening and weekends.
Holding a current driving licence and having a car are essential in this rural circuit.

Salary £6240.00 per annum paid monthly.

Pastoral Worker -10 hours per week.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake Pastoral Care under the guidance of the Circuit Ministers. An interest in the spiritual well-being of the elderly will be helpful. To work in conjunction with the Circuit Ministers in supporting and strengthening the life of the churches.
Holding a current driving licence and having a car are essential in this rural circuit.

Salary £4160.00 per annum paid monthly
