A growing, caring church for the community.

The Church is very active and is always looking to embrace what is best for the people of today. Services are varied with the music being provided by a worship group or organist. Worship leaders share in leading the worship each week and there is opportunity to use modern technology to enhance the worship and on the fourth Sunday evening of each month, the chapel hosts Kings Praise, a circuit service of contemporary worship in café style. The church strives to involve the community in all that it does and annually along, with St. Mary's church, celebrates worship with the businesses in the town. There is a very strong community link established through the 'Hope' project which, among other initiatives, provides individual pastoral care.

Scouts, cubs, beavers, and guides use this church and its facilities which also attract a wide range of many of the local community groups. In partnership with St. Mary's, the church offers a "Rendezvous" group for primary school children on the first and third Wednesday of the month during term time.

Prayer groups, men's fellowship breakfast, and a home group are just a few of the mid-week fellowships which reflect the ethos of the church. Coffee is served on Wednesdays at a drop-in and each week there is a Saturday coffee morning with the addition of fundraising stalls on the first Saturday morning in the month.

Masham Methodist Church is a grade 2 listed building at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales and Wensleydale. It has many unique features and has been extensively modernised for more practical use. It is situated in Park Street and set in beautifully kept gardens creating a sense of grandeur, peace and purpose.
You are welcome to be a valued part of all that we do in our mission within the community.
