Colour Run

Colour Run which is being held in support of Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research UK?

This community event is a joint venture between Bedale High and Primary Schools and will take place on Saturday 25th June 2022.

The event is open to the entire Bedale community – not just pupils from our two schools and I am working hard to get the message out across the wider local community in Bedale and it's surrounding villages.

We are looking for adult volunteers on the day itself who would be willing to assist us on the day with event set up and clean up ,manning the registration desk, serving light refreshments, acting as race marshalls at various points along the route.

The route itself will be held completely within the grounds of Bedale High School, with the starting and finish lines on the main field in front of the main school.

There will be 2 'races' on the day itself

1000 – a mini race for children up to 10 years old

1100 – a 5K 'race' for everyone else – adults and teenagers alike!

Both races can be walked/run/strolled etc and we are advising all entrants to wear a white t shirt to ensure maximum coverage of the colours which will be squirted out at various points along the route by our Marshalls.
