The visual display group at Bedale & District Methodist Church got together to put on two display through lent- with the 'dressing of the cross' with symbols of the journey Jesus took leading up to his death and resurrection. They then set about using their creativity with everyday objects to represent the weekly readings used each Sunday in Lent. On Good Friday the church was open for prayer- either guided or personal using prayer stations and a Labyrinth.
In and amongst all this was Lego Journeys – a family church time- using lego to illustrate the story, so we have Palm Sunday and Easter built from lego.
Sage and Time made Easter gardens. (This is a new monthly group for the older generation to come together for a time of fellowship and tea, cake and craft or other activities and a short time of worship)
