2021 will begin in the Circuit with our annual covenant services, hopefully some of them in our church buildings. The Methodist Church are launching a major new initiative in them inviting us to revisit what it means to be a Methodist sort of disciple. You'll be hearing lots about it over the next few months including some study groups that are being planned.

For now, we encourage everyone to try and engage with the covenant prayer. The worship at home for today is a covenant service led by Rev Keith Phipps and he has reflected on the Methodist Way of Life themes in the service. With your membership tickets there will also be a commitment card reminding you of some of the Methodist emphases. Wesley was hot on the class meeting and supporting each other in the faith. Can 2021 be a year for our Circuit where we excite ourselves about what God is doing?
Remember Wesley began his covenant services as a reminder of our reliance on divine providence. Not a bad way to begin a New Year!
