Rev Claire Cawthan

Hello, my name is Revd Claire – I am the new Methodist Minister for Carthorpe, Snape, Bedale & District and High Ellington. This is my first appointment as a minister, having previously been a secondary school maths teacher for over 25 years. I have spent the last two years training at The Queen’s Foundation in Birmingham. Simon, my husband, and I have moved over from Baildon in West Yorkshire to Aiskew and are enjoying getting to know our new home and surrounding area. My mother comes from a farming family (sheep and dairy) so I am aware of many of the challenges facing those living and working in rural areas.
