I have had the privilege of walking alongside you for three Connexional years now.

Entering ministry later in life, my initial placement was on Guernsey which is a beautiful island if hugely isolating from my family and longstanding friends. After eighteen months the opportunity to join you in Ripon and the Lower Dales was offered and gratefully accepted. I love it here!

As one of three siblings and mother of three, there has been the opportunity to see a wide range of life experiences, without which I wouldn't be who I am today. 'People' have always been a passion, and enabling those around me to reach their full potential was an underlying motivation for working in HR. So, when given the opportunity to study for my master's it was natural to look into the alignment of organisational and people strategies. After all, where would we be without listening, working together, and enabling everyone to fulfill their potential. In the church, for me, this translates to enabling everyone to explore, and use, their gifts, and graces.

Over my time here, supported by colleagues, family, and friends I have had the privilege of witnessing churches and individuals blossoming as the spirit of God continues to move. My ongoing prayer is that as we transform from Circuit to Mission Area that we will, guided by God and discerned in apowerhouse of prayer, become a beacon of God's love in the communities in which we live, serve and worship.
